Job Summary

Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in Edmonds, Washington. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a community hospital surgical setting. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. The assignment involves a 4×10 day shift schedule, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 07/13/2026.

Job Details

• Schedule: 4×10 days, 10‑hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington license, 2 years OR experience, experience with EPIC (electronic medical record system), certifications in BLS and ACLS (ACLS preferred).
• Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in circulating and scrubbing for ENT, General Surgery, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, Post‑op, Pre‑op procedures.
• Additional Requirements: Candidates must have at least 2 years OR experience, familiarity with procedures including hysterectomy, appendectomy, arthroscopy, cholecystectomy, fracture reduction, colon resection, laminectomy, laparoscopy, thyroidectomy, and total joint replacements. EPIC experience is required. Previous permanent staff are not permitted to work as travelers; any Swedish permanent staff is a strict disqualifier.
• Shift Details: 10‑hour shifts with flexible start times 7 am, 9 am, 11 am or 3 pm.
• Experience Requirements: 2 years OR experience covering various surgical procedures.
• Additional Responsibilities: Provide two references covering at least one year (six months for CNAs) within the last three years prior to start.
