Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Miami, Florida. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Requirements include active RN license, BLS and ACLS, 2 years of acute hospital OR experience with orthopedic, neuro and robotics proficiency, and Meditech experience. Candidates must be willing to float across OR specialties and join a fast-paced surgical team.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must have 2 years current experience in an acute hospital setting, not a surgical center.
• Strong ortho, neuro and robotics experience; must be willing to float among different OR specialties.
• Must have Meditech Experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room, arrange equipment, assist doctor’s during surgeries, Mantain a 30 minute turn around time
• Inspect, maintain, decontaminate and repair surgical equipment, keeping inventory records, pre and post-surgical repair including shaving, transporting and applying dressings

shift : 7:00AM - 7:30PM/ 13 weeks

Position - Travel - RN - OR (701) - HCA Florida Kendall 7:00AM - 7:30PM

Must have: (includes certifications and special skills, ex: ACLS, BLS, NIH)

• BLS, ACLS
• Must have 2 years current experience in an acute hospital setting, not a surgical center
• Strong ortho, neuro and robotics experience, must be willing to float among different specialties in OR
• Must have Meditech Experience.

List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):

• Robotics/Da Vinci, SP, DV5, Mako, Stealth (Neuro), Burn cases (Rooms at 84 degrees temp), cysto fluid management, GI tower system, endo, laparoscopic equipment, ENT, Eye, Trauma 1 peds and adults, endo vascular hybrid room, implants scanning and documentation, specimen documentation, etc

Additional Preferences

(ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently)
