Qualifications

• Provide trauma nursing care in a Level 1 ED during primary and secondary surveys.

• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure timely assessments and interventions.
• Maintain documentation per hospital standards (Meditech).

Requirements: TNCC; Current ENPC-preferred; ACLS, BLS, PALS; Running a mass transfusion through level 1 rapid infuser, OR assistance when needed, Strong IV background, work well in high stress environment, Rapid critical thinking skills; IV placement, spinal stabilization, splinting, assisting with chest tube procedure, traction, central/ art line placement, emergency bedside procedures

Responsibilities:

• Provide trauma nursing care in a Level 1 emergency department environment during initial primary and secondary surveys
• Assist in procedures such as IV placement, spinal stabilization, and chest tube assistance
• Support high-stress, rapid decision-making situations in the emergency room
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure timely patient assessments and interventions
• Follow hospital protocols and maintain documentation standards using Meditech system
