HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing assignment in Plano, Texas. This role runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, offering a travel employment type opportunity.

The unit is a 30-bed Medical Oncology/Med/Surg setting with a 1:5 to 1:6 patient ratio and standard nursing responsibilities including medication administration, chest tube, NGT, and Foley management. BLS is required.

Unit Information

• Weekends and On call(if any)
• Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per month
• Number of Beds - 30 bed unit
• Number of Staff - 48 nurses/pct/huc
• Type of staff:
• Day Shift - (1 CNC, 5-6 RN, 2PCT)
• Night Shift - (1 CNC, 5-6 RN, 2PCT)
• Patient Ratios(ESTIMATED) - 1:5/1:6
• Type of equipment - baxter pumps, scd machine, mobilab, glucometer
• EMR - meditech
