Job Summary

This Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position is located on a night shift in a healthcare organization. Candidates must be proficient in reading and interpreting strips independently and prepared to demonstrate their skills during onboarding tests. Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Recent acute Medical Surgical nursing experience with Telemetry of 2 or more years.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
  • CPR and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Epic electronic health record (EHR) system experience.
  • Must be separated from the healthcare organization for 6 or more months and in good standing.

• Additional Information:
  • BILH cover sheet required at time of submission.
  • Candidates must pass ECG/telemetry and medications testing during onboarding, with a single attempt to pass each, including dysrhythmia and medication tests administered via Zoom. Tests require an 85% passing score, with preparation resources provided.
  • Must hold Massachusetts licensure at the time of submission.
  • The unit does not have telemetry technicians; all Registered Nurses are responsible for reading and interpreting their own ECG strips.
  • The assignment involves flexing between all medical-surgical telemetry units as needed.

  • Candidates must be free from the organization for at least 6 months and in good standing to be considered.
