South Wing 6 is a 32 bed (can flex up to 34 beds) general surgical unit.

Fast-paced, highly acute care population. G

eneral surgery, colorectal, elective weight loss surgery (gastric surgery), urology, spinal, thoracic, trauma, ortho-trauma, endocrine, and occasional medical overflow.

Ratios- 5-7 patients (we try to avoid 7 but it occasionally can happen)

Years of experience 5 years and greater

BLS/ACLS/NIHSS
