Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions CHS seeks a travel nurse RN for Med Surg in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts, days and nights. Must have IndianaRN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and 1–2 years of experience; Cerner EMR experience preferred.

Fast-paced tele-ready postoperative care with established protocols and order sets. 37-bed unit with patient ratio 1:5 and no on-call requirement.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (state of Indiana).
• BLS and ACLS required.
• 1–2 years' experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Med Surg care in a fast-paced unit.
• Follow surgeon preferences and established order sets.
• Document patient care in Cerner EMR.
• Support 37-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
