Location: Great Bend, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP (Target 3/15/2026)
Positions Available: 1

Position Overview

• The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care within the Medical/Surgical (MS) unit.
• The RN will collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and professional nursing standards.

Schedule & Shift Details

• Shift: Days
• Hours: 12-hour shifts
• Time: 06:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per month
• On-Call Requirement: 1 shift per month
• Holiday Requirement: Required in rotation

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hospital Medical/Surgical experience
• Active Kansas RN License or Compact License
• AHA BLS & ACLS certifications (Required)
• Must be willing to float within scope to the Emergency Department (ED)

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing IV drips (gtts) including:
  • Heparin
  • Insulin
  • Amiodarone
  • Cardizem
