The RN may float between departments and be on-call during scheduled shifts. Requirements include valid RN license, ASN or equivalent, and BLS, with 1 year of nursing experience; BSN and ACLS/NRP/PALS are preferred.

Job Summary: Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse Performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health teaching and counseling. This position requires delivering supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly to patients or through consultation and supervision of others. The RN may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days Shift, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/12/2026 to 01/09/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) or equivalent from an accredited School of Nursing; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association; minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Nursing degree; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications as appropriate for the specialty
• Additional Information: The RN will perform health assessments, develop and monitor treatment plans, utilize resources effectively, document according to regulatory standards, and promote the organization's mission and values. Responsibilities may include health teaching, counseling, treatment planning, patient referrals, and documentation.
