HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Denver, Colorado. The position requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts on the Pav 2/Pavilion Ortho/Neuro unit at HCA HealthONE Rose.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of Ortho or Med Surg experience in a hospital setting, BLS, and ACLS preferred. Travel experience and strong teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year current Ortho RN or Med Surg experience in a hospital setting.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and Ortho/Spine experience preferred.

• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 charge RN, RNs to volume, 1-2 Techs, 1 secretary
  • Night Shift - 1 charge RN, RNs to volume, 1-2 Techs
• Patient Ratios – RN 5:1, 8-12 patients per tech.
• Type of equipment – Immobilizers, braces, cold treatment.
• EMR -Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year current Ortho RN or M/S experience in a Hospital setting
• BLS
