Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. This role involves coordinating with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, administering medications, monitoring patient status, assisting with procedures, and educating patients and their families. The position is based at a healthcare facility and requires a compassionate, detail-oriented registered nurse with a foundation in medical-surgical care.

Job Details:

• Location: Riverton campus
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state RN license; American Heart Association ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications; minimum 1 year of clinical experience; EMR experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a hospital or medical-surgical setting; experience with electronic health records; additional certificates in related specialties are advantageous
• Additional Information: Must include SageWest coversheet with submission. Candidates should be able to perform bedside care, administer medications, and participate in discharge planning. Must use the specified submission template and attach all required documentation.
