Job Details

• Position Description: Provides direct patient care for a Medical Surgical unit within the healthcare facility, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality while performing duties consistent with the facility's mission, values, and standards.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license valid for the state of Missouri, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, at least 1 year of inpatient Medical Surgical experience, flexible night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification from the American Heart Association, experience with Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsibilities: Monitor and coordinate patient care activities, utilize equipment such as Nova Meters for blood glucose, Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo pumps, and SCD machines. Perform assessments, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure care adheres to hospital and nursing standards.
• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:0 PM to 7:30 AM, with minimum weekly hours of 36.
• Additional Information: Utilizes a comprehensive understanding of nursing standards and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act. Floats to other units may be required based on staffing needs. Candidates must be available for a 13-week assignment starting on 11/09/2026, ending on 02/08/2027, with a possible RTO of up to 5 days.
