Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a 16-week assignment in Tacoma, WA. You will work nights (12-hour shifts), 48 hours per week, in the Birth Center, caring for high-acuity OB patients and newborns.

Requires 2 years of L&D experience, BLS, NRP, and Intermediate FHM (AWHONN). EPIC experience preferred; travel friendly with guaranteed hours and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience: minimum 2 years in labor and delivery; strong OB/L&D background.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, and Intermediate FHM (AWHONN) required.
• Travel/assignment: 16 weeks; nights; 48 hours per week; start 09/27/2026.

Responsibilities

• Support labor management and delivery for high-risk OB patients.
• Triage OB patients and circulate in OR.
• Perform cervical checks and interpret fetal monitoring strips.
• Assist with newborn reception and recovery as needed; EPIC charting.

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Tacoma, Washington.

Skills Required: High acuity experience: labor management and delivery of high risk OB patients, ability to triage OB patients, circulate in OR, cervical checks, reading/interpreting fetal monitoring strips; second set of hands (receive and recover normal newborn as needed) EPIC experience is required

Floating: Antepartum (within L & D), postpartum (4th floor) (occasionally), additional assignments within scope and experience
