This travel role involves floating and no block scheduling, requiring flexibility and strong inpatient nursing skills. Provide specialized obstetric care to acutely ill patients, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure patient safety and quality

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, recognizing and responding quickly to changes.
• Safely administer medications and implement nursing and physician orders.
• Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with patients and families.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
• Delegate appropriately and maintain patient safety and infection prevention standards.
• Complete required competencies and education, practicing within California RN scope and hospital policies.
