HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN in Interventional Radiology for Thornton, CO. This 13-week assignment requires 40 hours weekly with a 10-hour day shift, travel employment. Team includes IR RNs and techs with 1:1 patient ratios.

Must have 1 year IR RN acute care experience plus BLS/ACLS/PALS. Meditech experience and vascular access skills are preferred. On-call hours apply; best-fit candidates are team players with strong critical thinking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year current acute care IR RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications required.
• Meditech EMR experience preferred.
• Strong vascular access and PICC/midline skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for interventional radiology patients during a 13-week travel assignment.
• Coordinate with IR team before and after procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor patients 1:1 as required and respond to changes promptly.
• Document care activities in the Meditech EMR and maintain quality care.

  • Night Shift - on call only and weekend call

• Type of equipment - Siemens Single plane c arm
• EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year current acute care IR RN experience
• BLS, ACLS & PALS

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Meditech experience
• Good vascular access skills
• PICC line or midline experience

• Para/thora/LVO/FNA/Mid line/Piccline/Kypho/PE thrombectomy
