Prime Time Healthcare Nursing in Sierra Vista, AZ is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology to support its IR program. Assignment: 13 weeks, 40 hours, 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday with some call; start date 10/12/2026.

The IR RN will provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care, administer moderate sedation, and maintain sterile technique. Candidates need at least 5 years' IR and CCU/ED/PACU experience, an Arizona or compact RN license, BLS and ACLS; ADN required, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of IR nursing and critical care experience.
• Experience with moderate sedation required.
• Arizona RN license or compact license; BLS and ACLS.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care before, during and after IR procedures.
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation; perform vascular access and assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians and procedural team; maintain sterile workflows.
• Work schedule: 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week.

Travel Interventional Radiology RN | Sierra Vista, AZ

Canyon Vista Medical Center is seeking an experienced IR RN to provide care before, during and after procedures in its growing interventional radiology program.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; no routine weekends
• Call: Approximately two weeks per month
• Unit: 5 beds; listed ratio of 1:4
• EHR: Cerner
• Floating: None
• Orientation: Every two weeks

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience , including IR nursing and critical care experience in ICU, ED, PACU or an equivalent setting. Candidates need experience administering and monitoring moderate sedation, strong IV and assessment skills, knowledge of sterile procedural workflows, an Arizona or applicable compact RN license, BLS and ACLS. Moderate sedation competency is also required. ADN required; BSN preferred.

Procedures include image-guided biopsies, drain placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, vascular access and fluoroscopic procedures. The RN will work independently while collaborating with physicians and the procedural team.

Travel eligibility

Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate.
