Job Summary

Interventional Radiology (IR) RN Location highlights a short-term assignment at a Level II Trauma Center. The position involves providing specialized patient care within the interventional radiology unit, utilizing a comprehensive understanding of IR procedures. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where expertise in angioplasty, carotid stenting, and vascular closure systems is essential.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid state license with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Interventional Radiology. Must have applicable IR experience as an ARRT (V) technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist, or as an ARRT (R) IR Technologist with scrub experience.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
• Required Skills: Proficiency in interventional procedures including angiography, sheath removal, and radiation and laser safety. Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias, perform vessel closure, and monitor radiation safety protocols.
• Additional Duties: Floating between units is not required; on-call is required, and candidates must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
• Submission Requirements: Must include responses to questions about previous experience at a Providence facility, references covering at least one year within the last three years, and verification of a valid license before start.
