The role encompasses floating responsibilities across three ICU campuses with rotating day and night shifts, contributing to comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: California RN License, BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS, and four years of ICU experience required.
• Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with availability for day/night rotation shifts.
• Responsibility and Clinical Skills: Managing ventilated patients, arterial line management, chest tube insertion/removal assistance, blood product administration, neuro ICU care, IABP management, stroke and CVA care, and use of specialized ICU equipment such as FloTrac/Vigileo and Impella.
• Float Requirement: Float to three ICU campuses and step downs including TICU and PCU units; flexibility to float to EDs or MST floors if ICU is not needed.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must provide valid Nursys licensure, applicable certifications, and two references within the last year.
• Additional Information: Must complete required onboarding modules during orientation, with all compliance documents submitted 10 days prior to start date.
