Shift Times: 7:00PM – 7:00AM Ward: Catholic Medical Center

Weekends and On‑Call: Every third weekend, no call

Unit Information: Intensive Care

• Number of Beds: 20
• Type of Staff:
• Day Shift – 1 charge, 8‑10 RNs, 1‑3 LNA’s, sitter PRN
• Night Shift – 1 charge, 8‑10 RNs, 1‑3 LNA’s, sitter PRN
• Patient Ratios – variable biased on acuity (ECMO 2:1, post open heart surgery 1:1, Critical ICU/ devices pt 1:1, typical ICU assignment 1:2, stepdown assigned 1:3‑4)
• Equipment: IV pumps, telemetry monitors, hoyer/stand lifts, Impella, IABP, CRRT (nxstage), bladder scanner, Bair hugger, rapid transfuser, Blanketrol (for warming and cooling pts), chest tubes, vein finder, Sorin retransfuser post cardiac surgery, ventilator, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP
• EMR: Sunrise

Must Have

• Experience with critical drips, vents, etc.
• Prior ICU experience, 2+ years preferred
