Job Details

• Position Description: Medical Surgical Float Nurse responsible for general medical and surgical nursing care, managing assessments, care planning, and inter-professional communication.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: IN license (or compact license as of 7/1/20), BLS through American Heart Association, at least 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary experience, with a minimum of 1 year experience at a facility with 450+ beds.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in large hospital settings, proficient in EPIC electronic records, and able to float to other medical units.
• Additional Information: This position includes supplemental hospital orientation, and the candidate may float to other medical units as needed.
• Submission Requirements: Willing to wait for license approval; must have a license to submit.
