Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Assignment details include 14 weeks, 40 hours/week, 10-hour rotating shifts in Endoscopy. Start date 09/21/2026. Requires 2 years of RN trauma experience and certifications BLS, ACLS; experience with EPIC, ION robot, Omnicell, and Alaris is preferred.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy RN with advanced procedures experience.
• 2+ years of RN trauma experience (Level 1 or 2).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Endoscopy nursing care and assist with advanced procedures.
• Operate charting and equipment systems (EPIC, Omnicell, Alaris).
• Support pre/post recovery, rotate between peri-op and floor as needed.
• Assist with ION robotic assisted Brochoscopy and related tech when required.

MANAGER INTERVIEWS

Required Experience: 2 years – Level 1 or 2 trauma experience

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Charting System/Equipment: EPIC, ION robot – robotic assisted Brochoscopy, Omnicell, Alaris

Patient Types: Upper & Lower Endoscopy (to include advanced – EUS (Endoscopic US), EBUS (Endobronchial US), ERCP. EGD and Colon
Pre and Post Recovery (Phase I and Phase II) with some ICU level care needed.

Skills required: Endoscopy (to include advanced – EUS (Endoscopic US), EBUS (Endobronchial US), ERCP. Anesthesia provides sedation

Floating: As needed (PreOp/PACU/Floor) – if floated out of peri-op services, will be as helping hands. Will not be floated to Main OR as Primary RN
