Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. The ENDO unit requires 2 years trauma experience, BLS and ACLS.

This 13-week, 40-hour per week position rotates in 8-hour shifts. Floating to PreOp/PACU/Floor as needed; not Primary OR. EPIC, ION robot, Omnicell, Alaris systems are used.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Endoscopy RN; required two years trauma experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Willingness to float to PreOp/PACU/Floor as needed; not Primary OR.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care for Endoscopy patients, including advanced procedures (EUS, ERCP).
• Assist with anesthesia for sedation.
• Float to PreOp/PACU/Floor as needed; support peri-op services.

MANAGER INTERVIEWS

Required Experience: 2 years – Level 1 or 2 trauma experience

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Charting System/Equipment: EPIC, ION robot – robotic assisted Brochoscopy, Omnicell, Alaris

Patient Types: Upper & Lower Endoscopy (to include advanced – EUS (Endoscopic US), EBUS (Endobronchial US), ERCP. EGD and Colon
Pre and Post Recovery (Phase I and Phase II) with some ICU level care needed.

Skills required: Endoscopy (to include advanced – EUS (Endoscopic US), EBUS (Endobronchial US), ERCP. Anesthesia provides sedation

Floating: As needed (PreOp/PACU/Floor) – if floated out of peri-op services, will be as helping hands. Will not be floated to Main OR as Primary RN
