Responsibilities

• Circulate and support procedures in the Endoscopy unit, and perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with experience in endoscopy.
• Minimum 1 year of experience practicing the scope of RN endoscopy procedures.

Unit Specifics

• Units: 2 endoscopy suites.
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for circulating; up to 2 patients for PACU, Preop 1:1 during preop questioning but may be up to 1:3 if waiting.
• Staffing: 1 circulator and 1 tech in the room; scope washer designated for the shift.
• Equipment: Olympus scopes, OER elite washer, ION robot.
• Documentation: Meditech Expanse and Provation.
• Scheduling: 6 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday-Friday based on assignment.
• Floating policy: Float to ASC and other surrounding facilities as needed.
