American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a flexible Emergency Department and Med-Surg travel assignment in Leon, Iowa. The role requires ED experience and IA or compact RN licensure.

Shifts are 12 hours with rotating schedules, totaling 36 hours per week, starting ASAP for an 8-week assignment. You’ll work in a hospital setting across ED and Med-Surg units, with support for travel reimbursement and day-one benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience in emergency or EMS settings.
• IA or compact RN license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Verification of active licensure and certifications are required for consideration.
• Travel nurse assignment with 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in both the Emergency Department and Med-Surg units within a hospital setting.
• Scheduled shifts include Sunday day and Thursday night in the ED, with an additional rotating Med-Surg night or day shift determined every 6 weeks.
• Med-Surg shifts may fall on weekdays, weeknights, or Saturdays depending on departmental needs.
• Schedule changes on a 6-week basis to accommodate unit requirements.
• Candidates must have strong ED experience and/or a robust EMS background.
• Responsibilities include providing care in both ED and Med-Surg environments.
• Flexibility is required due to rotating and dynamic scheduling.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members is expected.
