Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 12 hours, nights

Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds - 30
• Number of Staff – 49 FTE, 6 PRN, 2 Leadership
• Type of staff:
• Day Shift – CNC-1, RNs – Based on volume forecast (7-10), 2 PCT/EMT, 1 US
• Night Shift – CNC-1, RNs- based on volume forecast (7-10) 1 PCT/EMT, 1 US
• Patient Ratios – 1-5 at the most ( acuity dependent)
• Type of equipment – Advanced monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, and EKG machines
• EMR – Expanse

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Advance critical thinking and skills
• Extensive experience with trauma, STEMI, Stroke and Sepsis

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Adult and pediatric ED experience
• Completed certifications aligned under HCA Nurse Contract and Pool

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Thoracotomy
• Arterial lines and MTP

• Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue scrubs and follow Dress Code Policy

Weekends and On call(if any)

• Will work alternate weekends
