Job summary

Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Spearfish, SD. The position runs a 13-week rotation with 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, starting 10/12/2026. The nurse may work across ED, ICU and Med Surg as needed.

Requirements include SD RN license (compact accepted), BLS/ACLS/TNCC/PALS, NIHSS preferred, CPI preferred, and at least 2 years of ED/critical care experience with Epic charting experience.

Qualifications

• SD RN license or compact license accepted.
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC and PALS certifications required.
• NIHSS preferred; CPI preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years ED/critical care experience.
• Trauma experience and ability to work across ED/ICU/Med Surg.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in ED, with capability to cover ICU and Med Surg as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Document patient care in Epic and ensure accurate charting.
