• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor (required).
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 6 months of hire or transfer.

The position involves triage, treatment, and discharge care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provides nursing care, including triage, treatment, and discharge care for emergency department patients, from newborns to geriatrics. This position is represented by CNA.

Recognizes symptoms of cardiac or respiratory distress and other emergencies, providing appropriate interventions. Demonstrates competency in medication administration, intravenous therapy, care of indwelling catheters and drains, and medical equipment use. Interprets ECG rhythms and manages care during life-threatening emergencies, including Code Blue, Code Stroke, Sepsis, and Trauma activations. Performs thorough documentation and safety checks consistently.
