Job Description & Requirements

Unit Specifics:

Number of Beds : 11

Patient Ratios : 1:4, 1:6, acuity based.

Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : PCTs scheduled mid-shift. RNs and PCTs are responsible for running point of care (POC) labs. RNs responsible for set up and adjustment of respiratory equipment for patients, with assistance available via phone from main hospital.

Type of equipment : Cardiac/Vital Sign Monitors in all patient rooms, equipped with all necessary supplies and equipment, CT, Xray, POC lab

Documentation system: Meditech

Scheduling special requirements: every other weekend required

Floating policy: possibility of floating to main ED

Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, narration of care, SBAR for dept, admission, transfer handoff

Hospital Specifics-

Certifications: Level II trauma, Cardiac Care, Primary Stroke Center, Burn Center, Level II NICU
