Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in Madison, WI. This role involves providing critical emergency care within a Level IV Trauma Center and Acute Stroke Ready Center. The ER nurse will manage a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, in a fast-paced environment with a daily census of approximately 140 patients.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM, including weekends and holidays.
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license, two years of recent Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years, valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I or Level II experience, prior charge experience, and experience with Epic electronic medical records system.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, RN license.
• Additional Information: The position involves managing patient conditions such as acute psychosis, trauma, respiratory infections, stroke, and more. The nurse will pass a telemetry test prior to start with two attempts allowed.
