Job summary

Malone Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Lynchburg, Virginia. This travel nursing position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with a duration of 13 weeks starting July 13, 2026.

The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of ED experience, hold necessary certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC, and preferably have prior Cerner experience. Competitive benefits are offered including weekly pay, holiday pay, and continuing education support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar size Emergency Department.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, Trauma Certification.
• Strong preference for candidates with Cerner experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Must work every other weekend.
• Complete 12-hour night shifts.

PRIOR TRAVEL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CENTRA POSITIONS! • Assignments end on Saturday • Must work every other weekend • Locals within 60 miles are not accepted • IVS to manager for approval • Client can cancel up to 36 hours per assignment due to census.
