Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking an ER Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Lansing, MI. The role is at a Level 1 Trauma Center with responsibilities in emergency care across stroke, cardiac, and pediatric EDs.

Expect high patient ratios and weekend rotations; shifts are 12 hours, 7:00 to 19:30, with a 13-week contract and 36 hours per week. Requires state RN license and ACLS, BCLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC preferred; minimum 2 years ER experience; EPIC charting experience.

• State license - ACLS - BCLS by AHA - PALS - TNCC - ENPC (PREFERRED) - NIH - Level I trauma experience REQUIRED - 2 year minimum experience REQUIRED - Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias - EPIC charting experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department.
• Manage high patient ratios of 1:5-6, potentially up to 8 depending on patient influx and holidays.
• Work 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4-week schedule, with flexibility to work 1, 2, or all 3 days.
• Float to Pediatric units as needed and possible.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver trauma, stroke, cardiac, and pediatric emergency care.
