Job Details

• Position: RN - CVOR (Certified Circulating Nurse and Scrub Nurse roles) in Operating Room - Open Heart specialty at Greenville, NC.
• Experience: 2 years of CVOR experience preferred; minimum of 1 year required.
• Licenses: RN license (compact accepted); valid state or compact license required.
• Certifications: BLS - American Heart Association required.
• Schedule: 10-hour days shifts, 40 hours per week, shift times from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Call required, including weekend call.
• Start Date: 11/16/2026.
• End Date: 02/14/2027.
• Patient Population: Cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery patients undergoing procedures such as CABG, valve repair or replacement, TAVR, LVAD placement, endovascular repairs, carotid stenting, thoracotomy, VATS, and related surgeries.
• Roles and Responsibilities: Managing perioperative nursing care as Circulating Nurse and preparing surgical equipment and supplies as Scrub Nurse. Ensuring sterile field maintenance, assisting with instrument passing, managing specimens, and performing counts to prevent foreign objects from being retained.
• Additional Information: No float rotation required. The position involves circulating and scrub functions in a 7-bed CVOR unit with staffing ratios of 1:1.
