HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a 13-week travel assignment in Charleston, SC. The role requires experience as a circulating RN in the operating room, including thoracic and vascular cases, with familiarity with XI robotic systems. Schedule is 40 hours per week, days only, at Trident Medical Center.

Qualifications

Circulating RN in General OR including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Plastics, Trauma.
Thoracic and vascular experience including heart/valve procedures.
Bi-lingual or strong communication not required; clinical excellence expected.

Responsibilities

Provide circulating RN support in the OR, including positioning and prepping.
Assist with multiple surgical specialties and robotic cases as assigned.
Collaborate with OR team to ensure patient safety and efficient turnover.

Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :1RN/1CST per room, turn over staff, 1 charge RN, 4:1 Anesthesia coverage. Inhouse night shift.
Type of equipment :XI Robot, advanced spine, Mako joint robot,
Documentation system:Meditech
Scheduling requirements:3 call shifts(12hr) x 4 weeks. Days and nights available

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set: Circulating RN in general OR to include Ortho, Neuro, Plastics, Vascular, and Trauma and Robotic obgyn and Urology cases

Must have:

Thoracic and Vascular experience to include heart and valve replacements.

Stong skills in the following:

Cardiac (CV/PV)

AAA

Coronary Artery Bypass Graft

Fem-Pop Bypass

Mitral or Aortic Valve Replacement

Advanced skills needed: General circulating knowledge to include positioning, prepping and facilitating cases mentioned in above surgical areas.

Procedures performed on unit: Surgical procedures in the following areas: General, trauma, Ortho(trauma and elective joints/sports medicine)Urology, GYN, XI robotic utilization, plastics, Neuro(complex crani and spine services) Cardio/thoracic dedicated staff.9

Certifications Required: BLS, RN
