Job summary

Medasource is seeking a Travel RN CVOR in Houston, TX to join our surgical team for a 13-week assignment. The role requires RN licensure, CVOR experience, and the ability to work 8-hour day shifts with call.

You will perform a range of procedures in a high-volume OR, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in robotic and endovascular cases. This assignment offers comprehensive benefits and weekly pay through Medasource.

• Able to cover 8s or 10s shifts and take on-call duties.
• Experience with OR teamwork and complex case load.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with surgical team and maintain patient safety.

• Candidates with moderate sedation experience
• Candidates that can do ortho, ent, gyn, and general cases

• CABG with or without valves
• Pericardial Window
• AAA and endovascular AA
• ECMO
• Convergent Maze
• Impella - ballon pump
• Fistula
• All the Bypass
• Endarterectomy - carotid or femoral
• VATs (Robotic, Lap or Open)
• Robotic Esophagectomy
• BKA or AKA
• Temporal artery bypass
• Thombectomy/embolectomy
• Insertion or Removal of Peritoneal Dialysis catheter

• Someone who is a hard worker, willing to help wherever it's needed, and gets along with others.

• RN license, bls, acls, and pals
• Great if RN has CNOR but not necessary

• Will work in the Surgery Department only
• Case load will vary - Can do general, ortho, ent, gyn, podiatry, urology, plastic, pain, or eyes.

• Scrub Color/Attire - RN navy blue
