Job Summary

ICU Cardiovascular Nurse Night Shift Location: not specified. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, provide health education and counseling, and execute supportive and restorative therapies either directly or through consultation and delegation.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIH certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. May also be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
