HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a 13-week assignment in Overland Park, Kansas. The role requires 36 hours per week across 12-hour day and night shifts in a CVICU setting.

The position demands knowledge of telemetry, pressors, inotropes, and complex post-operative care, with ACLS/BLS or ALS/BLS certifications. Equipment includes Alaris IV Pump and GE bedside monitors.

Qualifications

• Telemetry and critical care monitoring experience required.
• ACLS/BLS or ALS/BLS certifications required.
• Experience with post-operative care in CVICU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide CVICU nursing care with open heart surgery patients.
• Monitor hemodynamics, telemetry, and pressor requirements.
• Coordinate care across CVICU and floor units as needed.

Must have: Telemetry, Pressor, Positive Inotropes, Pacemaker, Chest Tube, Cath/EP Lab recovery, pericardial drains, frequent site and vital sign assessments

Procedures performed on unit: open heart procedures, ecmo cannulation

Certifications: ACLS/BLS or ALS/BLS
