Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) registered nurses are sought for a travel assignment in Gainesville, Florida. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients requiring complex cardiovascular interventions in a busy ICU environment. The position offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity, ECMO-capable unit with advanced equipment and procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Critical Care Competencies, vasoactive infusions, arterial lines, invasive central lines, ventilator management, 1+ year of ICU or Cardiovascular ICU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiothoracic surgery experience, cardiology experience.
• Additional Information: NFRMC CVICU is an ECMO center with a heavy surgical volume for Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery. The unit includes ECMO patients, and staff are experienced with procedures such as chest tube placement, central line placement, bronchoscopy, and percutaneous tracheostomy. The unit uses Alaris infusion pumps and a Meditech documentation system. Staff may float to other Critical Care areas as needed. The unit maintains a royal blue scrubs dress code.
