Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a travel nurse RN Clinic for a Boston, MA assignment. The RN will provide outpatient clinic care, perform vaccinations, wound care, and patient education while coordinating with physicians and staff.

Start date 11/02/2026; duration 13 weeks; 40 hours per week; 10-hour day shifts; travel employment. Requirements include 1 year of clinic/outpatient RN experience, active BLS, and state licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• The RN should have 1 year of experience in a Clinic or Outpatient setting.
• Current BLS certification and eligibility for State licensure are required.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories, vital signs, and perform assessments.
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as ordered.
• Assist providers with procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Perform wound care and basic lab work, including specimen collection.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns to providers.
• Document nursing care and patient interactions accurately.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations.
• Support scheduling and administrative duties as needed.

We're looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel opening in Boston, MA.

The right RN should have 1 year of experience in a Clinic or Outpatient setting. Read below for more requirements.

As an RN in a Clinic, you will provide nursing care and support to patients receiving outpatient services. You'll work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare staff to ensure efficient, safe, and compassionate care.

As an RN, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Take patient histories, vital signs, and perform assessments
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as ordered
• Assist providers with minor procedures and diagnostic testing
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Perform wound care and basic lab work, including specimen collection
