Job Description

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), the RN will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. The RN ensures the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure, monitors the level of all instruments and supplies, participates in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities and training of new staff, and assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures; support the procedural team; maintain equipment and supplies; coordinate patient care in the cath lab; participate in staff meetings and training; monitor hemodynamic data.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, Cath Lab
• Certifications: ACLS (copy needed), BLS (copy needed)
• SSN Required
• DOB Required
• References: 1 reference in entire work history
• Current and valid state RN license
• Minimum 1 year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital critical care (preferred)
• COVID vaccination preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Must have previous Cardiac Cath Lab experience (no exceptions)
• ARRT‑R and licence as required by state or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab (preferred)
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring (preferred)
• Proficient computer skills

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Rate: $3,154.00 - $3,349.00 per 10‑hour shift (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
