Job summary

Nightingale College seeks a Travel Clinical Nurse Instructor (Assistant Professor, Experiential Learning) to lead on-ground clinical instruction across nationwide facilities. This role centers on immersive experiential learning within SOFE sites, spanning PN, LPN-to-ASN, and BSN programs.

You will facilitate learner experiences, evaluate progress, and uphold facility standards while collaborating with faculty and governance structures. Budgeted with travel and lodging coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree with a major in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Active RN or APRN license with ability to obtain licensure in required jurisdictions, including a multi-state license.
• CNE credential — or a commitment to obtaining it within one year of hire.
• At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience within the past 5 years.
• Current immunization and certification records as required by accreditation, facility, or state board of nursing.
• Proficiency in modern technology platforms with the ability to adapt quickly to new software.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learner instruction across clinical settings at partner facilities nationwide
• Teach and evaluate learners enrolled in PN, LPN to ASN, and BSN programs
• Monitor learner attendance, performance, and comprehension — maintaining open communication and submitting required performance grades on time
• Uphold partner facility standards and hold learners accountable to them
• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and shared governance
• Contribute to faculty development and institutional initiatives
