Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Seattle, WA. The role is 40 hours per week with a dayshift, 8 hours per day. Immediate travel opening requiring 1 year of NMT experience and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, preparing patients, and maintaining documentation while adhering to safety protocols. This position is with TotalMed Allied, a travel staffing partner.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in nuclear medicine.
• BLS, ARRT (N) certification, and NMTCB-CNMT with registration.
• State licensure as required for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicine physicians.
• Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures.
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist.
• Provide assistance to patients during procedures.
• Ensure the environment is safe at all times for patients and staff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
