Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with Nuclear Medicine experience to support general NM studies and potential PET/CT rotations in a hospital setting.

Requires NM experience and BLS; KY/compact license; 2 years in specialty; references and strong communication. Day shift 8:00–4:30, occasional call every 9 weeks. Housing and licensure reimbursements provided for travelers.

Qualifications

• Nuclear Medicine experience required.
• PET/CT experience preferred but not required.
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years of experience in specialty required.
• Compact or KY state license required.
• License required if applicable.
• At least 1 professional reference required.

Responsibilities

• Nuclear Medicine Tech unit within a hospital setting.
• Provides care for patients undergoing general NM studies (bones, gastrics, hepatos, renals).
• Uses Siemens imaging equipment including Symbia, Intevo SPECT/CT, Biograph MCT Flow PET/CT cameras.
• Potential rotation through PET department for PET/CT trained technologists.
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with variation due to scheduling.
• Call required once every 9 weeks; ends by 6pm typically; weekend call 8am-5pm.
• May float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospital.
• Delivers patient-centered care with emphasis on communication and accuracy.

• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and patient-centered approach required

Responsibilities

• Nuclear Medicine Tech unit within a hospital setting
• Provides care for patients undergoing general NM studies such as bones, gastrics, hepatos, and renals
• Uses Siemens imaging equipment including Symbia, Intevo SPECT/CT, and Biograph MCT Flow PET/CT cameras
• Potential rotation through PET department for PET/CT trained technologists
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with some variation due to patient scheduling
• Call required once every 9 weeks
• Weekday call typically ends by 6pm unless a late patient requires extended coverage
• Weekend call coverage from 8am to 5pm for GI bleeds, bio-leaks, VQs, and brain death cases
• May float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
• Delivers patient-centered care with emphasis on communication and accuracy during imaging procedures
• Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted at this facility
• Returning staff must have been separated from all affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a travelers
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration; requests made after offer will not be approved
