Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. The right candidate will have at least 1 year of experience, ARRT (N), BLS, NMTCB-CNMT and state licensing as required.

Responsibilities include preparing radiopharmaceuticals, administering them, operating the scanner, ensuring patient safety, maintaining records, and supporting physicians.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• ARRT (N) certification and BLS required.
• NMTCB-CNMT certification and state licensing where required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients.
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Position and instruct patients for procedures.
• Inject radiopharmaceuticals under direct supervision.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety.
• Understand and use PACS system (McKesson PACS).
