Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Tarzana, California. The position requires graduation from an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program, ARRT registry, and at least 18 months of Nuclear Medicine experience; shift is 9 hours for 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Eighteen months of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures
• Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology
• Provide images, data analysis and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures
• Evaluate images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintain an environment of excellence focused on patient care
• Promote safe work environment for staff and customers
