Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Boston, MA. Start date 09/28/2026 with 40 guaranteed hours per week and 8-hour daytime shifts, Monday through Friday.

Travel to a hospital setting and adherence to ALARA and safety standards are required. Requirements include a BS or AAS in Nuclear Medicine Technology with certification upon hire and MA Radiologic Technologist License, plus NMTCB/ARRT certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a scientific field with a certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology or an associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology plus 2 years of experience by date of hire.
• Must be certified upon hire (or within first year) in NMTCB or ARRT(NM) and another certification (NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), ARRT(CT), or ARRT(MR)). MA Radiologic Technologist License. BLS/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Perform molecular/nuclear imaging procedures (SPECT/CT, PET) following protocols and quality standards.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals, ensure proper dose administration with ALARA principles.
• Operate imaging equipment, acquire/process images, collaborate with clinicians to optimize quality.
• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, obtain consent, monitor for adverse reactions, provide comfort and education.
• Maintain documentation in NMIS/RIS/HIS; participate in QA and calibration.
