Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in California. The assignment runs for 12 weeks starting 11/02/2026, with a 4x10-hour shift schedule (40 hours per week) and a guaranteed weekly pay range of $3,514 to $3,725. Work will be at a hospital setting, transportation and credentialing support provided.

The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality imaging results.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform radiopharmaceutical administration and imaging procedures per protocol.
• Coordinate patient flow in a busy clinical environment.
• Strong attention to safety, radiation protection, and sanitation procedures.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment
• Administer medical substances for imaging or other procedures
• Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation
• Coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control
• Adhere to radiation safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interpreting physicians and the care team to optimize imaging results
