Job summary

Preferred Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an 13-week assignment in Encinitas, CA. This travel opportunity offers 40 hours per week on days, with an 8-hour shift schedule to fit a consistent routine.

You will administer radiopharmaceuticals, record diagnostic images, and contribute to patient care in an acute care setting. Candidates must have 2 years of recent NM experience, ARRT and NMTCB certification, state registration, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
• ARRT and NMTCB certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• 2 years of experience within the last 5 years

Responsibilities

• Put patients at ease, obtain histories, describe procedures, and answer questions
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging procedures
• Monitor patient condition during procedures
• Process data and enhance digital images
• Provide images and data for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures
