TotalMed Allied seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Elizabethtown, KY. This role involves preparing radiopharmaceuticals, administering them, and acquiring images with imaging systems, under radiologist supervision.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience and relevant certifications. You'll work a 40-hour week on days, for a 13-week duration, with the travel employment type highlighted.

Qualifikationen

• Must have 1 year of experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Certifications: BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT, and state licensing when required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Aufgaben

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer them to patients before imaging.
• Operate the scanner or gamma camera used for imaging.
• Position and instruct patients for procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety procedures.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Use McKesson PACS system to review images.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff at all times.
