Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document all nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals, monitor patient reactions, and uphold safety protocols.
• Accurately position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and optimal imaging results.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals by providing clear, timely reports and clinical input to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies.

Job Description & Requirements

Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Shift: 5 x 8-hour days
• Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm
• No call requirements
• No weekend shifts

Qualifications:

• Active certification in Nuclear Medicine: ARRT(N) or CNMT
• Current NJ State License for Nuclear Medicine
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with general nuclear medicine procedures, including bone scans, hepatobiliary scans, lung scans, and thyroid scans, is highly preferred
• Strong technical proficiency operating nuclear medicine equipment and processing diagnostic images

$2,838 - $2,992/Week. Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
