Qualifications

• Proficiency in general nuclear medicine and PET imaging.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radioactive drugs for patients.
• Operate radiation detection and imaging equipment per protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient care.
• Float between nuclear medicine and PET as needed.
• Fulfill on-call requirements as scheduled.

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
• BLS certification
• 2 years' experience as a nuclear med tech
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB
• 3-5+ years of experience
• Proficiency in general nuclear medicine as well as PET
• Experience with GE and Siemens equipment

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Shift days: Monday through Friday
• On-call requirements include one weekday per week from 4:30 PM - 10:00 PM and one weekend per month on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Float between nuclear medicine and PET as needed for direct and indirect patient care
